This is one of those "double-dip" titles, guarantee they'll release it as a "ho-hum" then in 10-12 months announce a deluxe edition.

Damn...got me all excited. I was hoping that it would be Sam Elliott's The Quick And The Dead which is also an excellent movie. Still holding out hope for this title as well as The Sacketts.

Gene Hackman never ceases to impress me in the roles he plays and he sure did a good job in this movie.

this one is a definate buy for me. The movie still holds up to this day. Hopefully it will be a nice PQ and AQ upgrade from the standard DVD.

Nice, hopefully it's the extended version, there was a version released in other countries that had more scenes particularly one that hinted at a love connection between Crowe and Stone character.

I saw this movie for the first time on HDNet Movies (the Mark Cuban cable channel) recently and the PQ was quite good - Great and entertaining movie! It's a probable purchase for me...

If this is true, I might have to wait and see if the foreign import is released.

I'd rather get that instead.
