Weird.

Actually I think "weird" is an understatement.

I pre-ordered it. It's about fucking time. I remember when he announced this on Jimmy Kimmel's show when he was in pre-production for Halloween in 2006.

This was supposed to come before Halloween.

Looks like Halloween 2 will come before his other animated flick, T-Rex--or something like that/

I think the studio agreed to fund/release this as a part of Rob's contract to remake Halloween.

1st day purchase for me.

I hope this will be good. I actually haven't seen any of the movies he directed because I'm not into torture porn, but I still like the guy's aesthetic sensibilities.

What happened to it coming to theaters??? I've been waiting to see it for 3 years now, and they aren't even going to put it in theaters? That's some ****ed up bull****. They'll put garbage like Halloween in theaters, but something that might not suck, gets shafted. -_-

Box art could really lose the "Beyond High Definition" crap at the top. Really stands out on this one to me, I thought companies had started finally moving away from that. Anyway, won't make or break the deal for me, will be a rental first since I know nothing about it, but like Rob Zombie. Just stop with the ugly covers and ads for the format on the box art! For that matter, ones at the beginning of the disc too. It is already funny when I buy an older BD title that starts off with a long cheesy ad. On top of that they are recompressed into one codec from different sources and bitrates, making the scenes it shows not truly representative of blu-Ray to begin with.
