Oooooh, Forrest Gump. I will get this one for sure. Have it on VHS right now...so I could use the upgrade. Hopefully it has at least a 4 star transfer!!

I love this movie and I've never owned the VHS or DVD so this Blu is a buy for me.

I dunno, this movie got way overplayed and I got pretty burnt out on it. if it marks high AV scores I get it at a bargain price. But I think it's a little outdated IMO. But its classic and everybody loves it, god knows I did at a time.

I wish they would fix the part with John Lennon. The accent is so/so and the lip movements sucked. They have the technology to right that stuff now....wish they would.

BTW: I'll still be buying it!! Great film. Freddy

I'm not sure i'll get this, if I do it will have to be mostly for the video as you already know that the surround channels are silenced througout the film (intentionally). Still and all, i'm sure the 3.1 active channels should sound amazing.

I got tired of watching it the first time, in the theater.

I've walked out of the theater on two movies in my life - Caligua, for being too gross, and Gump, for being too boring.
