Default 'Righteous Kill' - High-Def Digest Review

Aaron Peck gives his opinion of the latest De Niro-Pacino collaboration, 'Righteous Kill.' Judging from Aaron's review, 'Heat' it is not. He says this clunky, predictable police drama isn't worthy of these two screen giants, although the video transfer sure is pretty to look at. Bland audio and supplements, however, drag the disc down further, and reinforce its status as one to avoid.

haha, I like the Larry King reviews on the back of the boxes. He's an easily amused guy.

He calls everything the "greatest."

HAHA I know. My favorite is that I just watched and will be reviewing "The Greatest Game Ever Played." But, on the back of there King has a quote that says "Every bit as good as Seabiscuit!" If someone doesn't know why that's funny then I can't really help them.

You guys don't honestly believe they chose to work together in this POS, do you?

It was probably in their contracts that they would have to do a film like this (and get paid boatloads of money, too).

The plot premise sounds promising, the cast is above reproach - how the hell did they manage to f*ck this up?! It seems impossible. I think I'll have to rent this just to find out exactly how they did it.

Heavily into necrophilia - still enjoying 'dead' HD DVDs.

Bad writing, imho. I saw this flick and it just...meh. Could have been much better. Worth a rental I guess...there are worse flicks than this.

As regards to the 'twist' I guessed it early on but wrote it off as being too obvious... When the end came I nearly said out loud 'what a crock of s**t!'. Terrible film.

Wow. Everyone's ripping this movie a new one. I too found it predictable but still enjoyed it. And now that it can be had for less than $9 I'll probably add it to the library.

Probably not a bad price to pay actually considering the PQ is pretty darn good.

I had really low expectations going into it, and I it wasn't as bad as I thought it would be. It was not good, but watchable just because of De Niro and Pacino. I got it for less than $10, but I wouldn't pay any more than that for it.

I follow your line of thinking on it. I was told it was bad. I watched it. It was very predictable, but far from being one of the worst films I've seen. Freddy

I think I'll go to wallmart and let them hear my offer on this movie... Nothing. If you really wanna see these two on a movie together pick up the right ones Godfather 2 and Heat.
