Worse than Snatch, better than Lock Stock. Love it.

i agree. RocknRolla DOES show some growth, though, as there are some very fun shots that get the viewer into it. the entire traintracks sequence was flat out awesome, but the rest of the film was a drag.

Liked this movie even though it didn't really go anywhere.. The digital copy in the Aussie release was nearly an 11gb file apparently for download (my friend said, i haven't bothered to check) . Should of just thrown it on a disc but oh well.

Great picture!

That's exactly the scene I was referencing in my review. Glad so many people liked that scene.

So, just for this picture alone which seems to speak high volume, I will definitively at 100% certitude rent the blu-ray and watch this film.

Thanks Chris619 for the right way to bring me in.

This is a tad unfair imo, because Snatch and Lock Stock blow just about anything out of the water.

I've owned the UK version of the BD for quite some time now and I thoroughly enjoy the film, it's more than a rental to me. And yes, the train track sequence is awesome.
I have a feeling that now that Guy Ritchie is finally rid of that hag Madonna we'll be seeing many more excellent movies from him!

PS: Oh, and excellent review, thanks!

I didn't know there were two cuts of Revolver - is there a link to info on this?

That said, I've seen the UK version and it's bloody terrible. It needs more than a different edit to make it a good movie.

I can't find my original link, but I did find this.

IMDb doesn't mention two different edits though. Tony has it at Xploited, but this could simply be because it was released in Europe prior to being released in the US.

Edit: Here is the link I had been looking for. Granted it's not definitive proof, but that's what I was looking for here.
