Default 'Final Fantasy: Spirits Within' -- pre-release buzz

Sony has announced two new titles for Blu-ray release on August 7, including 'Final Fantasy: The Spirits Within':

http://bluray.highdefdigest.com/fina...itswithin.html

This one will come with tons of extras. However, if I remember correctly, the movie was quick a big bomb, so I wonder how much interest there will be in this title? But it should look great in high-def, though...

Wrong, it should look spectacular in HD. If it looks anything below it will be because Sony halfassed it.
I'm just glad "Casshern" hasn't come out on either. If anyone here has ever seen it while you know it looks good it's so over the top it makes you wanna vomit.

Spirits Within is highly underated. A most unconventional ending, the CGI was gorgeous, but the animated acting was sub par with some loose screws in the script.

But I already own it on DVD so, no go.

underrated??? this movie bombed at the box office and got the worst reviews , had this been Advent children i would have been interested , but spirit as a final fantasy film sucked major ass , but as a stand alone nothing to do with final fantasy it was ok.

Excellent. I've always wanted to purchase this movie, I'm glad I held out until the release of the BD version. But where is Advent Children

This movie was great. I was expecting this as one of there first movies, seeing as how the transfer would be really quick.
Advent Children was really dumb. The whole film was a VH1 "where are they now" with no substance, it was all fanboy fan service.

the mistake of Spirits Within was sticking Final Fantasy in the name when really all that did was hurt it with the huge expectations people got

personally I really enjoyed it and it was amazing graphically and will be even more so on Blu-Ray

too many people were expecting it to have summons and airships and chocobos and it wasnt meant to be that in any shape or form.
