Not a Stargate fan but I'm sure I would have recorded at least one episode had I known Jewel Staite was in it.

I LOVE Stargate but wont be getting this. I would buy Seasons in a second but not a 2 episode disk. Just a waste.

I've seen every episode in HD on TMN in Canada and am a big fan but i won't buy anything but full season or series sets on Blu.

Well, since they're a couple of the weaker offerings from the genre in the last couple of decades, you're missing out on some great stuff! ;-)

Shame they're only offering 2 eps... I think even most die-hard fans would rather wait for full season box-sets. Sounds to me like they're testing the waters to see the level of interest, with a view to releasing the full seasons, but it may backfire, and people who would buy the full seasons won't bother with this, and MGM will miss out on those potential sales.

Oh, and the picture with the article is for Stargate, not Stargate:Atlantis. It's like having an X-Files pic to go with the release of The Lone Gunmen! ;-) Or a B5 pic for Crusade lol!

i'm a huge fan of stargate but no way will i shell out 20 bucks for 2 eps. I will buy SG-1 and Atlantis day one when they finally release the complete series on blu-ray. Just hope when they do its not in some crappy cardboard sleeves like the sg-1 dvd complete series...guess i will be holding onto my thinpaks for a while! If mgm is testing the waters with this...sure seems like its gonna backfire...I dont see any real fans buying this unless its in the bargin bin for $5.

Agree with others. I love this series but I'll wait for the seasons to release. If this is their way of gauging interest...Epic Fail. Just release the seasons or full series already!

It doesn't help that this is them testing the waters. It won't sell very well because people want the entire series not two (albeit huge and quite good) episodes.
