Disney could of also realized that releasing Bug's Life and Monsters Inc on the same day was a bad idea. Better to spread things out a bit so at least we aren't having to buy them all at once.
Especially, as you know, "in this economy."*
*Don't you love that excuse by now.

I just recieved an e-mail back from Buena Vista Home Entertainment (the distributor of all Disney releases), and they had this to say:
"Thank you for your email regarding MONSTERS INC. We value your interest in Walt Disney Home Entertainment.
At this time, we do not have a Blu-ray release date for MONSTERS INC. We will forward your request for release to our Marketing Department for consideration."
So, I think it's safe to say that we won't see this release this year unless it's released along with the release of "Up" on home video, just as many others have been saying. My Set-Up:
LG 42PQ30
Sony Playstation 3
Toshiba HD-A2, Xbox 360 HD DVD add-on

It's mostly funny that according to a Bug's Life, Monsters Inc. is available now. It's even one of those trailers before the film starts, advertised as now available on Blu-ray high-def.

Based off of the Amazon UK site it looks more and more that the USA release will be late June. Then again I didn't see any UK Region B release for Bug's Life.... did that get delayed there or just not released over in the UK as of yet on Blu?

BVA (British Video Association) web page says that ABL was "Pulled From Schedule". Monsters, Inc. had same status but got an official date about a week ago.
