Scrubs: The Complete Eighth Season Coming To Blu-ray On November 17th
http://thehdroom.com/news/ABC_Readie...n_Blu-ray/4763
The eighth season of Scrubs with Zach Braff and his cohorts has previously been announced for a DVD bow on August 25. The Blu-ray version won't arrive on store shelves until November 17, almost three full months later.
Tech specs are still hazy but I can report all 18 episodes will span 2 discs. Probable but unconfirmed specs are 1.78:1 1080p video and some flavor of lossless audio.
Bonus features are almost identical to the DVD version with the exception of two additional never-before-seen webisodes.
* My Bahamas Trip
* Deleted Scenes
* Bloopers
* Alternate Lines
* 10 Webisodes
* 2 Additional Webisodes (BD exclusive)
Retail pricing for Scrubs: Season Eight on Blu-ray is $54.99 for the two-disc set (that is not a typo).A Nightmare on Elm Street Blu-ray Reviewwww.blu-news.com -

Day 1 for me!! Sadly, the previous seasons that were on NBC were all shot in SD and would be too much of a pain to upgrade. It doesn't matter... I own them all and I would double dip for this show (one of the few).

It'll be 35 week 1 and I'll buy it. But I mean, is it really worth having 1 out of the 8 seasons on blu? Oh well. I'll buy the DVD on august

YES! Bought on day one, full msrp if need be. The season was stellar and having just the one season on blu is good enough.

I hope the transfer is better than what was on TV. Regardless, I'll be getting the BD.
Did the primary buffer panel just fall off my gorram ship for no apparent reason?! -

Nice, I have been holding off buying the DVDs in hope that they will all come to blu. At least this is a start.

you sure about that? cant speak for before but the last 2 seasons of the NBC show aired on the HDNBC channel and while it wasnt widescreen, the image was indeed very crisp and clear and looked HD.
either way, i'm still waiting for the series to end and get a full series set...i'm brave. :P
oh and considering this was Zach's last season (least as a regular), you'd think they would have made a cover to reflect that. this one looks like just another season. -

Did the image take up the entire screen or was it 4:3 format (upconverted to1440x1080)?
