Default BBC to Release 'Torchwood: Children of Earth' on Blu-ray Sept. 15th

BBC Home Entertainment in conjunction with Warner Home Video have announced that they will bring 'Torchwood: Children of Earth' to Blu-ray on September 15th, day-and-date with the DVD release. This two-disc set will feature the latest Torchwood series - which is set to debut this summer - in 1080p VC-1 video accompanied by a 5.1 Dolby Digital soundtrack.

No special features have been announced at this time.

Default 'Torchwood' season three/mini-series has been bumped for a late July release.

Technical specs remain the same with a 1080p VC-1 video encode accompanied by a 5.1 Dolby Digital soundtrack.

One casualty of the bump, however, is that the Blu-ray release of 'Torchwood: The Complete Second Season' has been pushed back from its July 7th release date three weeks, to July 28th, to coincide with the release of 'Children of Earth'.

Also, could a mod change the date in the thread title? It is no longer correct.
