FUNimation has announced its latest Blu-ray anime:

No word yet on specs or extras.

Street date is September 29, and MSRP $34.98.

Either would be fine.

I have yet to purchase them (mainly thinking about the future BD release), but absolutely enjoyed this series.

The film has Fritz Lang in it...that's just badass. That completely made my day, as a film geek and all. Especially since they showed him working on my favorite of his films...

It clearly mentiones the movie.

Glad I was never able to et the DVD version, this will be a buy for me.

Hopefully they start releasing the seasons on BD soon.

i hope they bring more TV series out here on Blu-ray, the Jpn retail prices for Blu-rays are outrageous!

As much as I loved 'the Qonqueror of Shamballa', it didn't really come close to the series. I don't see any need to update my DVDs tho (got complete series and film), but I would like to buy the new series on bluray. The highdef .mkv looks stunning!

List price is outrageous!

Conqueror of Shamballa is the movie made a couple of years ago. If you want the new season on Blu-ray you would need to import it from Japan when it comes out.

They are re-releasing the limited edition copy of the dvd version but that comes out in June last time I checked
