I love this movie. Too bad I already bought the $45 Fire and Ice (2-Disc Limited Edition) from HMV a few years back. Hard to justify a double dip to the wife!

This is a superb film, better then the LOTRs effort imo, really low fantasy stuff that fits with the Conan-themed world and story.

His $45 was in Canadian dollars. At least I assume so since he's from Alberta

Love this one - but wonder how much longer I will have to wait for a Heavy Metal and Heavy Metal 2000 blu ray release.

You'll probably have to wait until the new one comes out.

Well one thing we need to hope is that when they did the contract for the music for the DVD of the original that they included language for future video formats as well. Everytime I look at the regular DVD of Heavy Metal I get a headache from all the shimmering in the picture.

And the fact that HMV only operates in Canada in NA. Unless of course the poster was in England but as you pointed out, he's from AB.

Also, depending on when he bought it $45 might only have been ~$30USD.
