Default 'UFC: Ultimate Comebacks' - High-Def Digest Review

Nate has reviewed ''UFC: Ultimate Comebacks.' He says this is a nice introduction for UFC newbies, but as a Blu-ray it's not so great. Video and audio are lacking, and there are no extras. For fans only.

Ive just gotten into UFC with a friend but I see no replay value in it. So I mite rent it if they have it at BB.

Great review. I try to watch the majority of UFC fights, so I would say I am a fan. Bummer about the PQ and AQ. I was considering picking this up to add some variety to my collection.

not really digging the fight list, guida v huerta was great though

to me, mma dvd's aren't something i'd rewatch over and over, i've had some in the past and they usually get watched once and sit on the shelf

that's the way TV shows are for me. even shows i absolutely love, like the office, or frasier, get one view, as a marathon, and then they collect dust, until i sell or trade them.

I would agree with the PQ not being up to par (say with that of "Best of 2008"), but The fact that we are getting anything other then movies and TVs shows on Blu-Ray is refreshing. I've been a fan of MMA even before UFC 1 and am excited that they are taking steps into the HD market, however releasing "The Best of 2007" which was originally announced for HD-DVD would have made a stronger first release IMO.

Heck, I'd still wish they would release it on Blu, I wonder why they didn't bother since it sounded practically finished right before HD's demise and don't see it being too difficult to convert over to Blu.
