’Universal Soldier’ - High-Def Digest Review

As a midday bonus to accompany this morning's review, Tom has reviewed 'Universal Soldier.' He says this is an entertaining guilty pleasure. This Blu-ray has excellent video, good audio, and some nice supplements. Worth a look.

Ditto on the 10 bucks at Walmart. It's fun to watch some of jean's earlier films and then watch JCVD.

I'm gonna have to disagree with the reviewer on this one, I thought the video was so so but the audio was awesome. That's just my opinion of course.

I would say this is much better then the sequels and is worth $10.

Definitely. The PQ is terrific. If all catalog titles looked this good and the discs were this cheap I think we'd all be in Blu heaven.

I got this when it was first released and was let down how much this has not aged well for me. I sold it within a few days. Oh well. I did look great though.

Ditto. Was very, VERY impressed on the PQ! this movie is very fun to watch and it brought back a lot of childhood memories of my older brother recording this off HBO (or showtime?) on a VHS and I would constantly watch it over and over again
