Peter has reviewed 'Arctic Tale.' He says this documentary from the makers of 'March of the Penguins' is a disappointment (A whole segment on animals farting?!). This Blu-ray represents inconsistent footage well, and provides a strong audio track, but supplements are lacking. This is for nature and polar bear fans only.

I am interested in beautiful artic scenery but am not sure how I would handle the political agenda of the film. Especially, considering that I DON'T "know" that global warming is a serious issue.

"The lame euphemism used for some of the animal's sexual proclivities is a bit tacky, and is only outdone by the juvenile focus on excretory functions (there is even a montage of various creatures farting)."
This from the guys who brought us March of the Penguins?? They just went down 500 notches in my book.

Isn't the French version of Penguins supposed to be atrocious?
