Default 'Transmorphers: Fall of Man' -- pre-release thread

Newcomer Asylum has announced this, and it sounds hilarious:

http://bluray.highdefdigest.com/tran...rsfallman.html

It's a direct-to-video prequel to 'Transmorphers,' which was a 2007 direct-to-video 'Transformers' rip-off. Hopefully, it will be as good as '10.5: Apocalypse.'

No specs yet, but the $24.98 MSRP probably doesn't mean a huge special edition.

Street date is June 30.

I vote that anyone caught buying this should be immediately banned and never allowed back for having the worst taste on Earth.

I simply do not see how this title could possibly benefit from a HD transfer

seriously though, I sincerely hope that is sarcasm in Peter's post...

Transmorphers was amazing. You could see that the guns they had were made of cardboard tubes.

When I watch movies like this, it baffles me that with all the people involved in making the movie, nobody was smart enough or objective enought to call out half the rediculous moments in the movie. Low budget is one thing, but come on! Did they even watch it when they were done?

This thing will make Bay's Transformers II: Revenge of the Fallen look like Citizen Kane. Seriously.

Saw a few truly awful minutes of the first one on Encore a while back and, well.....

I cannot believe that Transmorphers is getting a sequel. Actually, I can't believe that Transformers is getting a sequel but that's for another thread at another time...

As long as they stay away from any teeny bopper love stories and the comical elements that were in the first one it should be good.

I think my brain just spasmed a little bit...

Once again we have a prime example of why Blu-ray is having mainstream adoption problems. It's not just the economy, but dreck like this constantly being re-released.

It does strike me as a bit odd that Hasbro hasn't jumped all over this with a cease and desist.

Sure, it's probably different enough, but its a blatant attempt to just cash in on the new Transformers film.
