Default 'No Country for Old Men' (Collector's Edition) - High-Def Digest Review

Our review of 'No Country for Old Men' (Collector's Edition) has been
posted. This new edition comes with great video and audio, but only a
few minor supplement improvements. Recommended, but if you have the
first release, little reason for a doubledip on this one.

But it's got a snazzy digital copy, right? Right?

No thanks, I'll stick with my perfect single disc edition.

No need to upgrade, my copy from last year is still working fine. I love love this film, I read the book too and I actually like the film better, slightly.

I will double-dip as it's in my top 100 all-time (easily). I'm a bonus features guy, so I will get enjoyment out of the substantial amount of lengthy pieces that have been added. Nice work breaking everything down there, Peter.

I'll double dip as well, but not instantly, probably will wait till the price drops a bit. One of my favorite films of this decade.

Yeah me too, the supplemental features don't look outstanding

Okay, please, someone, without insults, explain to me why this movie is so great. Seriously, tell me, because I must be watching a different movie from all of you, as I get a plotless movie where nothing happens and Tommy Lee Jones served no point. I need to know what I am missing.

Haven't you argued this again and again in the other NCFOM threads when it first came out? Do we seriously need to have this debate again in this re-release thread? Because I don't think we should. I'd suggest taking your question to the movie discussion forum because I can see this breaking down into insults fairly quickly.

That's an awful double dip. Why even bother? Maybe the original will drop in price because it seems just as solid.

+1 (2?) I'm not a big supplement person, so if the video is the same, and the audio slightly meatier on the original, I think I'll try to find a reduced price on the copy that had slightly better overall quality with regards to the feature.
