Default 'Bolt' - High-Def Digest Review

Peter has reviewed 'Bolt.' He was pleasantly surprised by this one. It's not quite Pixar, but it's very good! This Blu-ray comes loaded with five star video and audio and nice extras. Recommended.

Its worth it. Its not a recycled story like most animated movies.

Ugh. You're not helping. I really need to get on some studio mailing list. This is killing my budget. My wife will not be pleased if more Amazon packages arrive during the day.

If my nieces and nephews want to see it, I'll rent the BD.

I'm not surprised with the Technical score.

It's disappointing to hear about the lack of quality extras. And I'll throw in another vote for a blind buy. It's definitely one of the better Walt Disney Studios Animation releases in awhile...dare I say since Mulan.

I must say that this went from a sure rental to a sure blind buy from all these great reviews I'm reading. Plus it helps that I have 2 young ones that want to see it and it comes with a regular DVD for the car.

This was going to be a rent and see, but with the scores rolling in from here and AVS, it is now going to a def buy. Just not sure about day 1 - can't pay $28. $25 ok, but not $28, lol.

Are you somehow speaking from the future? Because it doesn't come out until the 22nd.

I was looking at EngadgetHD and they incorrectly had it listed as coming out today, guess I have to wait another week for it.

I'm someone who actually did not care that much for the movie. It was full of clichés and I felt it was unfunny most of the time. In my opinion, if it was up for best animated feature, Horton Hears a Who! should have been as well.

I will Netflix it to see if I like it more the second time around.
