Default ‘Cirque du Soleil: Cortéo’ - High-Def Digest Review

Tom has reviewed ‘Cirque du Soleil: Cortéo.’ He says it's hard not to be impressed by this show. This Blu-ray has good, but problematic video due to low lighting, surprisingly strong audio, and a few supplements. Worth a look.

+1. I have no interest whatsoever in the movie (clowns are creepy!!), but the bear story was fun. Thanks!

I saw this show live because my fiance had free tickets. It was my first Cirque show, and while watching it I wondered if I had ever seen anything more incredible in my entire life. I may check out the blu-ray, but the thing about Cirque is that you have to see it live. It's one thing to watch people spiral through the air on tv--we see it in movies all the time--but to watch it happen in front of you is mindblowing.

I've since seen "O" in Vegas, which cannot be described.

Yeah, I have a thing about clowns too. At least the ones in "Cirque" aren't as creepy as the ones I've seen at that very same circus with that bear.

Just got back from Vegas last week. I saw 3 Cirque shows, Love, Ka and Zumanity, all were amazing. I'll definitely give this a look.
