Default 'Beverly Hills Chihuahua' - High-Def Digest Review

Psst... if you're into talking dog movies, has Peter Bracke got a film for you! That's right, we're talkin' 'Beverly Hills Chihuahua!' The movie is about talking chihuahuas, what more must we tell you? This Blu-ray has good video and audio and plenty of extras. If you still bemoan the loss of the Taco Bell Chihuahua (who'd have thought sales would actually have been LOWER with that little fell on TV?), then give this puppy a rent.

Peter should be fired. Too many stars for this and not enough for others. His reviews are a joke and he obviously isn't qualified enough for this position. He's the laughing stock of this website.

It actually has uncompressed PCM, not DTS-HD Master audio.

You are all too rough on Peter. His reviews are pretty straight forward and honest. He could have been a snob about it but instead he saw it as it was. Obviously many others did too, because this made a ton a money at theatres and probably will on home entertainment. I will always be grateful to Peter on many of his criticisms that you all bash him for, he has been on-target so much of the time.

I don't know who you were referring to, but I wasn't bashing Peter. Just simply stating the audio mistake, and I'm glad he was honest with his scores when he could have given it .5 stars because people assume a film is bad.

Wow you guys are on a roll. Four reviews a day. Holy Moly!
But I think I'll be skipping this one.

I disagree. He's a tool who isn't qualified for the job he has been given.

He has not "been on-target so much of the time" either...

So you feel on the actual Blu-ray review (film review excluded) he has not been on target? Or just mostly his film reviews? I'm not bashing you, just curious.

His film reviews usually. He's a known disgrace in that area. A Time To Kill is one of his more recent examples.

Why are they so bad? I don't get it, he's reviewing the film how he thought it was? Do you want him to have the same taste, or what? I don't get it.....

If he isn't even in the same ballpark as every other major film critic in the world....he just shouldn't be doing it.

I also don't believe these types of sites should be dealing with reviewing films anyway. They should stick to reviewing audio and video only...that is all they are good for.

Well we'll have to get you to do it then...
