Yes, it took us a LONG time to get to it, but I've been wanting to make sure we covered it. As a little midday bonus for this winter afternoon, we're circling back and reviewing a movie set in beautiful, sunny, Hawaii.
HDD newcomer Drew Taylor has reviewed 'Forgetting Sarah Marshall.' He says this is one of the Apatow Dynasty's crown jewels. This Blu-ray has good video and audio and almost exhausting extras. Recommended. Full review here: http://bluray.highdefdigest.com/1576...hmarshall.html |

This was actually a decent flick, and definitely one of the better Apatow affairs.
Pineapple Express you can keep, but I thought this review was pretty spot on - Fun but not perfect i.e. comedic genius. |

This film was garbage.
I never wanted to punch a dude so hard in the face than this big *****, Jason Siegel. Every supporting actor was pretty cool in this flick, except Siegel. |

Day one buy for me.....oh wait it's been out for 5 months? Where have I been?
J/K, but I did think this was a funny flick, but I don't own it.

This is easily one of the best Apatow films made to date. It's unfortunate that it's worth was lost on the reviewer.
Also, the PQ of this one left much to be desired. I'd say it's closer to 3 stars out of 5. Brandon |

Best comedy of 2008 by a long shot! Great looking disc as well.

I loved it.
I do agree about the skintone though. I didn't remember everybody looking so yellowish when I saw this in the theater. Thought the blues in the water and the sky seemed pretty muted. |

Jesus Christ this came out in september! what the hell are you guys doing? do your damn jobs and review the movies on time for once, ESPECIALLY the movies that the users on your website are more likely to buy! We get a highschool musical review on time but it took you this long to get FSM? What the hell!

Been a while since I watched this one. The movie was rather enjoyable, but the transfer seemed a little soft.

If the MSRP on this one was lower, I might buy it, but it's yet another package that is over-priced in my book, which combined with being a middle of the road movie for me keeps me from wanting to shell out the $$ to get it. Even used the pricing (with shipping) comes in over the $18 mark and this one just doesn't rise to the level of me spending $20 or more to add it to the stack of discs on my shelves.
I enjoyed watching the rental, would still consider buying, but not until the price drops to a point that I can get a copy for < $15 |

I liked this movie and bought it a few days after release. I agree with the reviewer in that the movie was probably a little too long. Lots of laughs though. Freddy
