Default 'Office Space' - High-Def Digest Review

Peter has reviewed 'Office Space.' He felt it was a clever, well-written comedy, though one he couldn't entirely relate to, having never worked in a similar office environment. (Editor's Note - From my experience, this movie is faaaaar TOO accurate. Back in the day, it used to either have me in fits of laughter, or curled up in the corner, dreading the next work day). This Blu-ray delivers with
excellent audio and even better video. Supplements are a disappointment, but this is still recommended for fans.

An absolute classic and I love this movie. I even have a red stapler sitting on my desk. I'm gonna have to pick this up.

I'd love to pick this up, but (to sound like a broken record) the price will need to come down.

So glad they didn't fuck this one up. I'll definitely get this when the price drops. It falls in the category of movies I have on DVD and said I wouldn't get if it comes out on blu, but I can't resist. This is a classic.

I think i'm one of the three people on the planet who hasn't seen this movie. I have it on dvd but never got around to it. Now that it will be on Blu I'll definitely have to make time and give it a spin.

I'm surprised (pleasantly) that Fox gave this such a high quality transfer. I'll be picking this up as soon as it reaches my catalog price point.

3.5 stars for the movie itself isn't doing it justice imo 4.5 at least if not a 5. This gets funnier every time you watch it.

I and many people I know (not many because hardly anyone has heard of it) love Idiocracy.

A bit generous on the video rating, no?

The DVD transfer looks slightly desaturated while the Blu-ray looks a little oversaturated. On top of that, there isn't really a ton of upgraded detail. I think a 4/5 would be more appropiate here.

Props to Fox, though, for not using DVNR.

Idiocracy is definitely under-appreciated. Underated? I'm not so sure, but under-appreciated, definitely. There are some parts that are absolute genius. (For example the family tree ) As time goes on and you deal with more of the stupidity that is evident in Office Space and/or in Idiocracy you realize what a genius Mike Judge really is.

Yes, compared with other films in the comedy genre, it's gotta be a 4+. Anyone who has or has ever had a job that wasn't really a career can feel Peter's pain at how the daily grind can suck the life out of your soul!

Mike Judge just hits all aspects and turns the truth of it all into great comedy. Freddy

I agree that the movie is great and my star review would have been higher than this review.

Also, Idiocracy is a great film.
