Default '13 Going on 30' - High-Def Digest Review

Peter has reviewed '13 Going on 30.' He says this is a fun little romantic comedy. This Blu-ray looks and sounds great, and the extras are pretty fun. Recommended for fans of the genre.

Not sure if it matters for the review but the BD release contains all of the extras from both of the previous DVD releases (though perhaps not the theatrical trailer unless I overlooked that in the review).

The Fun & Flirty DVD edition had omitted the two commentaries, 3 of the 18 deleted scenes, the theatrical trailer and the gallery and added the alternate beginning/ending and Fashion Flashback featurette that wasn't on the the first SE DVD release.

I really enjoy the film. It feels kinda innocent which is nice. But I agree with Peter, it isn't a Big or Freaky Friday!

I do not even see a point in releasing such innocuous movies such as this in Hi Def. I'll stick with Crank and Iron Man...

Eventual $5 bin at Wal Mart on standard for this type of movie should fill the bill.. if at all.

I normally avoid this sort of flick like the plague, but when I caught this on TV some time back, I enjoyed Jennifer Garner's performance. She just comes across as a very likeable person. No need to watch the movie again, though. Maybe in a few months' time, when BDs start to appear in $5 bargain bins.

Heavily into necrophilia - still enjoying 'dead' HD DVDs.

Maybe they released it because it's a good movie? Not everyone still buys standard DVDs, you know.
