Default 'Max Payne' - High-Def Digest Review

Peter has reviewed 'Max Payne.' He says this isn't a very good movie (and the last part if a MESS). This Blu-ray however earns high marks, with fine video, even better audio, and even BETTER supplements. Give it a rent.

I guess some people think the boomier the better when it comes to audio. I think it was overkill and you had lows when there was no reason for it. Stuff was flying off my shelves when nothing seemed to be happening in the movie.

To the publisher... you forgot to end the anchor tag in the html in the movie portion itself.

Video and Audio are great. To bad the movie sucks so bad. Its confusing and strays so far from the video game that it shouldn't even really share the same name.

I was luke warm on the film when I saw it in the theater, it didn't quite satisfy then... Seeing it again on disc I'm more ok with it now... I don't know what warmed me up to it, but I guess I'm just accepting it for what it is now... It's half way decent, and very entertaining particularly with the visuals. I still wish they had Marky Mark popping pills all movie though. that could make for a great in movie SF as well.

Maybe it's to represent the hallucinatory pills.

Um....Is this a pre-final version of the review?

There is some weird non-sequiters in the film portion of the review that makes is seem like Peter intended to rewrite but left it.

Edit: Oh, and what's up with the massive link to nowhere?

People over on AVS and the gentleman who reviewed this at HTF are GUSHING about the audio on this one. Watching it today and looking forward to hearing this track.

I know I brought that up in my post.

The ending anchor tag seems to have been ommited. It makes the last 3 paragraphs in the "Movie Itself" section a giant link.

Ah yes, and who could forget good old Charlie Brosnan?

Seriously, does no one proofread these reviews?

Ever since I first saw Charles Brosnan kick ass in the original 'Death Wish'
Yeah, but Pierce Bronson could whoop his ass anyday.
