Peter's just back from Disney's 'Pirates of the Caribbean' Blu-ray event in Hollywood, where the studio showed off the "Scoundrels at Sea" interactive video commentary on 'Curse of the Black Pearl,' as well as the BD-Java-based 'Liar's Dice' game exclusive to 'Dead Man's Chest.'
The studio also unveiled plans to release 'Narnia' later this year, but put the kibosh on any animated classics until 2008. Full story here: http://www.highdefdigest.com/news/show/626 |

When it comes to the two formats, I much prefer HD DVD. But I also folded and got the PS3 for blu ray movies like these. Pirates is a huge release. I know matrix comes out next week, but it's 100 bucks. Hopefully they sell them individually. But i will be buying both pirates on BLU.
