It's official now. Quantum of Solace will get a March 24th release date, announced by MGM Home Entertainment.

Why is it released by MGM and not Sony?

I was pretty let down by this film when I first saw it, but maybe I had too high of expectations. Maybe I'll give it a rent and see if I like it more the second time around.

Even if I don't, at least there will be (by all accounts) another wave of classic Bond movies to buy.

I also wasn't impressed when I saw this in theaters, didn't seem to enjoy it as much as Casino Royale. But I'll buy this and give it another go-around when it releases. Maybe watching it at home will produce a more enjoyable experience... I did have to deal with an individual who feel asleep on multiple occasions, snoring so loud that it woke himself up.

Glad to see DTS HD MA used, I prefer this over TrueHD

Was a little letdown as well, Casino Royale set a high bar and I was hoping it would build upon that. Still an enjoyable action flick. And the DTS master should rock socks! so day 1.
