True Blood Bluray - Spring 2009
Hey sorry if this was mentioned already but I searched and didn't find a thread so here is what I found out:
According to this and this looks like a May 12th date but that can change. Also here is the Amazon.com links: DVD Bluray The bluray amazon page is just like those holder pages but the DVD has a price of $38.99 so the bluray might be around $59.99 I think This show is so awesome and I'm so excited HBO is getting the bluray out. I have real high hopes for this one (PQ/AQ/Special Features) especially after the great "Band of Brothers" release.

All HBO stuff are usually expensive. I mean look at "The Sopranos" box set. But at least they are starting to get there stuff out on blu. Now all I need is Entourage and the earlier seasons of Sopranos and all will be well.

as much as I like the show, I cant justify spending that much on it. I will have to wait for it to be discounted somewhere.

for me it was one of those shows that looked stupid at first but by the 2nd episode I couldn't wait to see the next episode. the show was much better then I thought. I will buy the BD for sure..

Pre-ordered!
I've only seen the first 4 or 5 episodes (on my girlfriends crappy 27" CRT), so I'm eagerly awaiting this release.

There will be PIP commentary on at least a couple episodes in this set.. at work I was handling a couple HDCAM SR tapes that said "True Blood BD PIP".

This show is simply amazing can't wait to own this. Great to hear there will be a PiP commentary on it. They are rare these days. BD "Crappy" Live has taken over. I hate BD Live. Bonus View is way better but the stupid studiosdon't know shit
