That doesn't mean 'Swing Vote' isn't entertaining enough -- and Costner actually seems to be having a great old time playing a pretty unpleasant character -- but one can't help but think the film couldn't have been more.

Hate to be pedantic, but I suppose Peter meant to write 'could have been more'?

I rented the DVD and watching it now. I think it's worth the rent, I love the moments when both Candidates do what ever Bud supports.
