Default 'Eagle Eye' - High-Def Digest Review

Peter has reviewed 'Eagle Eye.' He says this is an unbelievable thriller, but it's entertaining in a guilty pleasure kind of way. This Blu-ray has excellent video and audio and serviceable supplements. Give it a rent.

If you've seen 2001, skip this one. The plot twists will be totally obvious, making the film about as interesting as watching paint dry.

I don't get why people are always complaining when FICTION isn't realistic. It's fiction, it doesn't have to be realistic.

forrealios! I was like this is a mix of so many good movies(recent movies too) that it just feels like a giant big budget jumbled up baby of a bunch of films that it just didnt turn out good.

4.5/10

This flick never had a chance. Its basically a dumbed-down Matrix with Shia Lebuff as Neo. Oh my gawd!

I'll have to give this one a rent, but for the record it never really looked that great to begin with.

Anyone understand why Shia LeBeouf is such an in demand actor?
I've seen him in Disturbia, Transformers & Indian Jones and he always seems to play the exact same seemingly innocent bumbling character in every role. I don't get the appeal, or why Hollywood thinks he has any acting ability.

Having said that, I might as well add Eagle Eye to the rental Q and see if reprises the same character.

I agree the film is just blahh nothing special here at all.
I actually have to disagree on the video quality though. I thought it didnt look that great, it was a average transfer at best, i dont think it was worth 4 1/2 stars at all. Maybe 3 1/2 to 4
