    Default Pineapple Express BD Issues

Just tried testing the new Pineapple Express BD for a video store friend who couldn't get it to play in his player and it's a no go for me as well.Won't go past the loading screen.Tried it on my Sammy 1400 and Sony 350 and it won't play on either one. Both are all current with firmware ect.. Found another thread on the net where someone else can't get it to work on his PS3 either. If this is a planned buy for anyone, you may want to hold off. This is my first no player since going Blu over a year ago, although I've made it a point to stay away from certain disks (like the Bonds).I hope it's only this disk, will keep my fingers crossed.

Ahh I'm pretty sure its got to do with the BD-live not being active yet (street date is the 6th). Turn off Internet Access on the player and see if it loads.

I work for Blockbuster, had this title last week. Watched it all the way through on my PS3, 40GB. No problems, and I have BD live access turned on, though I didn't try theactual BD live content. Was dissapointed that the deleted scenes were in SD.

    THANK YOU VERY MUCH.

I registered just so I could say thanks. Two days ago I loaded up the BluRay, got my mind right and then tried to start the movie. It didn't work and now I was in no shape to go anywhere to do anything about it. So I took back pineapple express yesterday because it didn't work. I got another copy, came home and... crap. Same problem.

After doing a search on google, I found this thread. Per the instructions, I disabled BD access to the internet and the movie fired right up.

    Thanks again,
    Dominic
