Default 'The House Bunny' - High-Def Digest Review

Peter's review of 'The House Bunny' is up. He says the film is calorie free, but pretty funny. This Blu-ray sports good video and audio and some enjoyable supplements. Worth a look.

I think someone watched this movie through Anna Faris colored glasses. It was a cute movie though and she is fun to watch.

Un Pass

I bought this today (for $26.99) and on the back it says

PG-13 For sex-related humor, Partial Nudity and brief Strong Language.

Also says Dolby TrueHD and Region ABC.

It was a better movie than I was expecting, though it is not at all worth owning or paying for. Catch it when it comes on TV.

Yet, despite such a weak story, 'The House Bunny' made me laugh all the way through. And that's thanks to Faris. She's simply hilarious in just about every scene, and never misses a beat. Her way of spinning silly lines, her Yoda-channeled-through-Pamela-Anderson-speak, and the obvious intelligence with which she plays a dimwit, elevates the cinematic dumb blonde to the level of art form.
... and she has a great ass. :P

She's ok, but not as hot looking as Emma Stone.
