Default Madagascar: Escape 2 Africa ---- Feb 3rd

According to our friends at HDRoom, there is rumor that Paramount might be releasing the film by then. No Specs/Cover art available just yet.

I might consider a purchase when it drops price...I actually did get a lot out of this one, definitely a much better improvement over the original which had absolutely no character development.

Soo true. I haven't seen the sequel, I can't wait though.

I wish the studios would put out all of the theatrical movies before dishing out all of this DTV crap. If Paramount is still releasing Dreamworks titles, how about Prince of Egypt?

I enjoyed the first one and wanted to see this one in theaters, but never had a chance. I'll probably pick it up as long as it's a decent price.

So I'm getting a February 6th release date, which is a Friday? I'm waiting on confirmation, but we will see. Not too far away.

I liked this movie. Saw it in the theater with the kids and had a good time with it. If you liked Madagascar, then there is more to like here. Although they did over do it a bit with the old lady.

'Tis what I am hearing as well. I hate Friday releases.

I thought the penguins were the funniest in the whole movie. Main characters were ok...but I think the penguins had the funniest bits, imho. Anyways...I know my daughter will want it because she loved it so.

So true. Could they support a whole movie? I don't know, but I'd like to see them try.
