Default 'Wanted' - High-Def Digest Review

Ken's review of ’Wanted’ is up. He says this one isn't for everyone, but it's too much fun for some of you to miss. You know who you are. This Blu-ray features a striking video transfer, reference-level audio, and a wheelbarrow full o' supplements. If you haven't seen it, rent it first, otherwise, you fans will be happy with your purchase.

Are you serious? you gave this movie (content) a 4 star rating? I can understand a high rating on Video quality, but content... this movie was just over the top special fx... story was weak.

The story was awesome, it was fun and had a good (a bit predictable) twist in the film. The action sequences are way intense.

Here's my take on the disc:

That's why movies are subjective.

This is one of the few times that I disagree with the movie rating. It should be a 2 star at most, and this is coming from someone who is a big fan of action and sci-fi.

Good to see the review is coming up. I did actually fancy this (while loathing shoot 'em up, man thats some utter crap), and PQ and AQ was over the top. Especially liked the tight bass from center speaker.

I was Pleasantly surprised by this as its a Better film than it deserves to be
one of the better "popcorn" films to come out in the last few years

Indeed. Movies are subjective. If this film got a 2.5-3 star, i'd probably keep my mouth/keyboard shut. Just hard to believe that this is a contender of stellar content as far as a movie goes. Some movies reach people, while others dont retain what they saw because it may do absolutely nothing for them.

I had moderate expectations, that cast is what really intrigued me about this film... very disappointed... and it's coming from a fan of sci-fi/visually appealing movies.

The movie had GREAT FX... unfortunately, that isn't a plot (michael bay are you listening? lol).

Dude, the entire movie was metaphor for/against "complacency". On that alone it succeeds. It's a ride.

Took my lunch break at Best Buy, showed them a printed Sears ad-scan and got this puppy for $19.99. The movie was fun & cool, can't wait to watch it!
