Great action scenes, but the dialogue and plot could hardly have been worse.

I wonder how much more footage is included in this so-called unrated cut. If it gives us more action sequences then I'm down with a blind-buy.

how was this? friends of mine liked it, but i really liked the first game, haven't played the second, does this follow those story lines at all?

Not only was this the worst excuse of an action film, but its also the worst video-game adaptation to date. I respect John Moore's The Omen 666 for the mere fact that he captured the characters precisely with an all around great horror atmosphere, when it came to Payne everything is the opposite.

Was waiting for the Unrated cut, dont know if it will save this or not. (leaning towards Not).

But I'll give it a rent, decent visuals at least.

Might blind buy... Didnt see it in the theater since it got such bad word of mouth, but hopefully the unrated version will have all the action everyone says is missing
