This biopic of football hero Ernie Davis didn't get much traction at the box office, but Universal will release the Blu-ray on January 20:
http://bluray.highdefdigest.com/express.html Tech specs are 1080 video and DTS-MA audio. Extras include director commentary, four featurettes, deleted scenes an exclusive BD featurette, and BD-Live. No specs yet, but MSRP is $39.98.

It actually is a good movie, horrible marketing, which accounts for your impression of the movie. very sad they took the ESPN approach. without telling why the story was vip. honestly, the marketing ad's/ trailers stunk, movie is great.
anyway, its a nice movie and alot less boring than prior post. it is a pretty good movie, not as "inspirational" as you think. yes it is uplifting, but not boring, not sugar coated and it is a great movie. That said, universal home video is overpricing it alot!! $40? sorry this flick ought to be $30 list. |

I loved every minute of the movie, one of the best sports movies ever, definitely worth a buy.

Agreed. Great movie and the PQ/AQ were very very good. Too bad it didn't get more B.O. love.
