Wow, this was unexpected. The DVD had both the US and British cuts, I'm assuming this will have the same. Can't wait to hear that ol' Dodge Challenger roar its engine again!

Kowalski!

Man, that's awesome. Just awesome.... will Death Proof be out in Blu anytime soon? That's a double feature that needs to happen.

Interesting release, I liked Vanishing Point for what it was, haven't seen it in over 10 years. It's such a simple story, get from point A to point B in 15 hours or less while being chased by cops and assorted odd balls. With so many titles yet to come out on Blu, I wonder why they picked this title. Maybe it's because of Death Proof ? I just hope they don't release the remake with Viggo Mortensen.

"And there goes the Challenger, being chased by the blue, blue meanies on wheels. The vicious traffic squad cars are after our lone driver, the last American hero, the electric centaur, the, the demi-god, the super driver of the golden west! Two nasty Nazi cars are close behind the beautiful lone driver. The police numbers are gettin' closer, closer, closer to our soul hero, in his soul mobile, yeah baby! They about to strike. They gonna get him. Smash him. Rape... the last beautiful free soul on this planet." --Super Soul

YES, this movie is so good. It is probably the greatest car chase movie of all time. I only hope its loaded with extras and it needs to have the European version along with it. I am pumped everyone trust me its worth a blind buy.

Wow, I certainly didn't expect this.

Maybe we'll see Dirty Mary Crazy Larry eventually.

Hey, this is the movie with the young lady on the motorcycle, a really cool scene. I think that is why it is getting a Blu-ray release! Her claim to fame is that scene and she really never had an acting career but she must have a great sense of humor.

Nice, I like that they are sticking with that cover. One of the rare cases where I like the video artwork better than the theatrical poster art.

I used to get this movie and The Vanishing mixed up. I remember hearing this referenced in the dialogue of Death Proof.
