"Raging Bull" is a MGM release though distributed on bd by Fox.
an amazing film obviously, and one of the best announced Blus to date imo.

Wow, Passion getting a release date already dates Ken Brown's article on most sought after titles.

I have never seen Passion of Christ. I'll likely take a look at the Blu-ray though. Raging Bull is a must buy.

Why must a post have two movies mentioned? When both have totally different release dates.

Passion's release date is Feb 3rd not the 17

i'm surprised fox didn't make a "passion of the Christ-----mas special" in time for december 25. may as well offend your target audience LOL

Raging Bull...first day buy without a doubt. Keep the Scorsese coming! Best high-def news I've read here since Taxi Driver was announced. Raging Bull's b&w photography should look amazing in high def.

I'm more suprised they didnt make it an easter release as that would probably be more revelant than christmas.

So with all of the movies not getting lossless audio these days a subtitled movie like Passion gets a lossless soundtrack? I guess we'll get more detailed sounds of pain this time around. I can't figure out studios!

I own this movie on DVD but I'm not sure I want it in HiDef... it's graphic enough in SD.

I will double dip for both titles. IMO they are both must own in HD and the SD DTS soundtrack for "The Passion" was phenomonal. I'm anticipating the MA track to be top notch. Subtitled or not, nobody knocked "Pans Labrynth" for being subtitled and sounding great.
