Great. Hopefully it's region free. On a side note, can you image Versus on blu-ray?

It's better to be cynical about Japanese movies because the vast majority are garbage. Also, this movie has Steven Seagal's Japanese son sooooo... yyyyyeeeaaahhh.
Last I heard, Japan and North America are in the same region though so even if it's not region-free you can import any (grossly-overpriced) Japanese Blu-ray and it should work.Blu-rays: 17
HD DVDs: 9
Wants: "Ultimate Matrix Collection" Blu-ray, "V For Vendetta" Blu-ray, "Batman Begins" Blu-ray, "Sunshine" Blu-ray, "3:10 To Yuma" Blu-ray, "Eternal Sunshine Of The Spotless Mind" HD DVD.
If you really care about HD DVD, don't get the Xbox 360 add-on and make the same mistake I did

xtreem, yes, Japan is region A.
I too am hoping Tokyo Shock releases Versus: ultimate cut. that'd be awesome as hell. i buy their dvd packs (art of the gun pack w/ the 2 black angels and pistol opera, most recently the trilogy w/ japanese hell, samurai chicks, and another), and while some titles are sub-par, there are some hidden gems.PB: BD and game review site. Fact: There's no such thing as a theatrical collection, unless you own actual theaters. No one cares about the notes or sort options in your collection. It only shows us what people can steal by breaking into your homes, you ninnies. No one cares about your slipcover collection, or that you have 10 slips for one movie and play dress up with it. -

Uh... Doesn't Tokyo Shock hold the US rights to some of Toho's monster movies, I would love to see them in bluray.

I remember this being pretty boring and i don't think i made it thru the whole thing.
I do wish that Tokyo Shock would release more though because they do great things. -

The Female Prisoner Scorpion movies on Blu-ray, please! Or at least the ones Tokyo Shock has the rights to...
As for Death Trance, I'll pass. It has a lot of over-the-top fight choreography a la Versus, but I felt it was very dull (it does mostly lack the gore of Versus). I believe Tokyo Shock/Media Blasters helped pay for it, so that may be why it's being released on Blu-ray. -
