Default 'The Ultimate Matrix Collection' - High-Def Digest Review

Peter has made his way through 'The Ultimate Matrix Collection' He says the video and audio are five-star stunners, and the long list of supplemental materials simply boggles the mind, even if much of it is in standard-def. Highly recommended.

Do you think they'll sell the Animatrix on its' own? I already have the HD-DVD's so I'm not going to double dip the whole collection, but I would love to have Animatrix in Hi-Def.

Mildly irritating that the review is advertised ready when in fact it is not. I'll get over it though.

Uhhhh...
this site always has a promotional feel to it, but this (non) review really takes it to the next level.

Maybe

The animatrix is sold on its own in the UK so if they dont you might be able to import from there

I think this may be coming from some sort of technical problem, since changes I'm making aren't reflecting on the main page. Hang tight.

I was hoping Warner would upgrade the TrueHD soundtrack to 24bit but they didn't, so I'll just keep my HD-DVD copies.

A lot of us brought this box set in SD, as well as HD DVD, so this is a triple dip. Agree WB should release "Animatrix" on BD as a single title. Asking people too buy the 'same' box set three times is a bit much (too put it politely) WB.

It's official. I'll be keeping my HD-DVD copy. I hope they release The Animatrix solo at some point.
