Default 'Priceless' -- pre-release thread

Never heard of this film, but First Look has announced it for Blu-ray:

http://bluray.highdefdigest.com/priceless.html

Starring Audrey Tautou, it hits high-def on November 20.

No specs yet, but MSRP is $28.98.

I have it coming in tomorrow as well, just for Tautou and because I'm a fan of French comedies like Angel A and The Valet. I saw previews and read about it when initially released, so can't wait to finally watch.

Pretty much the same reasons I bought it.

Is it true that there aren't any English subtitles on any of the extras and that it's all in French only? That's what the DVDBeaver review says, but I'm not convinced. I don't know if I've ever seen that before. It doesn't make any sense at all.

Brent, it makes some sense. look at Canada's Amelie blu-ray. it is released in a bi-lingual country, french/english. with only french language, and only french subs. sometimes companies just f*** shit up, and that makes sense to me lol

It would make sense if it was released only in Canada, but this is a US release that will likely be sold in stores across the country in the US. I've hard of releases like this in Canada, but not one that was also released to stores across the US.

For the extras as well, or just for the movie?

Sorry to be a pain, but I'm just trying to make this clear since DB was so confusing about it.

Ah, ok. I guess DB is likely right then.

If you get chance to stick it in just to check for us, that would be great.

NO subtitles for any of the extras and the subtitles for the movie are for the hard of hearing only so if someone knocks on the door it says "knock on door" annoying as hell for me. I wish I never bought it.

Thanks for the update DP.

What a freakin' stupid thing to do for a title released here.

I still can't think of the last time a foreign flick was released here without any subtitles on any of the extras.
