'Eastern Promises' - High-Def Digest Review
Kenneth's review of 'Eastern Promises' is up. He's a fan of the film itself, and says this is a noteworthy Blu-ray, with reference quality video and 4 star audio. Recommended.

Wow - how can you not like 'A History of Violence'. Such a great movie. To each their own I guess. In any case, I'll be checking this one out for sure.

Great flick! looks like there's not really a reason to trade my
 for the though. But for anyone that doesnt have this, should definitly get this .yeah I agree, how do you not like 'History of Violence'? I like it even better then this, oh well, good review ken!

So much is said (and deserved) about Viggo's performance, but I found Naomi's subtle and touching performance quite good in this film. I'm anxious to get this film on BD and seeit again. Great stuff!

Brad, i much enjoyed Vinz Cassell's performance more, honestly, though Viggo did do a spectacular job, floppy dong or no.

I also recommend this movie, really surprised me since I wasn't expecting much from it all when I bought it last year.

Can anyone confirm if this is the same VC-1 encode as the UK release?
The copy i have is ok but not worth 5 stars. If someone can say whether it is different i would definitely import it.
