I am happy to see Fox Home Video starting to list price titles lower than $40. to have them release a title at $35 list price, a slightly lower price point, is encouraging.

I can only hope that the sales volume is ok enough that Fox see's a move down to $30 list price on catalog titles such as this as a price point that will sell alot of units.

It would be a great day if most movies on BD were not over $30 list price, and I sincerely hope that things continue moving in that direction

I've seen this movie so many times I don't think I could watch it again, even in HD.

Anyone else notice that in the news article on the main page, the picture they use is from Home Alone 2, not the original?

Great news. I figured it would be another year before we saw this.

Great news indeed. Too bad it's a Fox title so it's unlikely this release is region free. So, here's hoping Fox will release the title on region B also. And please, include the audio commentary this time (it was absent from all R2 DVD releases).

Fox is totally running the Box Office playbook. Here's another top grossing movie for Fox out on Blu-ray. Except for Star Wars, which Lucas really controls, here's there's top titles and what's hasn't been released in bold.

Independence Day
Home Alone
Night at the Museum
X-Men: Last Stand
Castaway
Mrs. Doubtfire
Alvin and the Chipmunks
X2: X-Men United
Ice Age: Meltdown
Day After Tomorrow
Mr. & Mrs. Smith
Simpsons Movie
Planet of the Apes
There's Something About Mary
Ice Age
Home Alone 2: Lost in New York
Sound of Music
X-Men
Fantastic Four
Dr. Suess' Horton Hears a Who!
True Lies
I, Robot
Doctor Dolittle
Juno
Cheaper By The Dozen
Live Free or Die Hard
Minority Report
Fantasic Four: Rise of the Silver Surfer
Borat
Robots
Devil Wears Prada
Speed
Big Mommas House
Walk the Line
Die Hard 2: Die Harder
Towering Inferno
Big
Dodgeball
Dr. Doolittle 2
Rocky Horror Picture Show
Porky's
9 to 5
Daredevil
Butch Cassidy and the Sundance Kid
Sleeping with the Enemy

I'm expecting most of the bold titles in the next 12 months. The Alien movies as their top grossing franchise will likely be in the mix next year as well.

A childhood favorite. I can't wait to get this! I knew I waited for a reason. Wouldn't mind getting the second one too.
