Thumbs up 'Annapolis' -- High-Def Digest review

Checked out 'Annapolis' today:

Can't say I'm surprised the film wasn't a big box office hit. Pretty derivative stuff, though I kinda enjoyed it. Also was the first title I've reviewed on the PlayStation 3 (watch for a full review of the console's Blu-ray player this week). Really glad to upgrade from the Samsung at last!

Haven't even heard of this - was it a straight to video release?

Very much looking forward to your thoughts on the video aspects of the BD player!

Glad to hear about the PS3. I gotta get me one of those!
Will you revisit some of the titles with poor PQ marks?

Indeed, and it certainly seems to tie with a lot of the comments made on the AVS Forums.
