Default Iron Man PS3 bluray problem

i tried to play this on my ps3, with the updated firmware and it got stuck at the loading screen. i tried it on my bdp1200 player and it worked fine. i read some threads of people who are having no problem playing this on their ps3 and i am wondering whats up. i checked the UPC and it is the same as the non-recalled UPC.

was wondering if anyone had the same problem and if they had a fix for it....

I have the same combination of players as you, but will be getting the movie tomorrow so I will tell you then. For the record, what version of the PS3 do you have?

There is 2 versions of the Iron Man floating around. One has been recalled. If you have it before release day you might have the recalled version.

Defective: UPC: 097361385747
New "Fixed": UPC: 097361385709

edit...I guess you have the new one..... dont know then.

PS3 apparently didn't have any problem with the "defective" UPC.

What PS3 do you have? I have the 60GB, and everytime someone proclaims a problem, I never have one.

Same thing happened with me, but after a minute and a half or so it finally pulled up the menu. Never had a Blu-ray take that long to load up on the PS3 before.

And for those who are wondering, I've got a 60 gig PS3 (purchased about 6 months after launch) and the Target exclusive Blu-ray.

It's probably just the BD-Live feature trying to connect to the internet that's taking it so long. The same thing happened to me on the Transformers Blu-Ray so I just shut off the internet option on my PS3 for my Blu-Rays to get it to load quickly.

According to something I read ar Blu-Ray.com this is exactly what the issue appears to be. Paramount needs to get their act together. First a recall and now slow BD:Live issues.

It's a BD-Live issue, can be slow.
