'Leatherheads' - High-Def Digest Review

Something to get you in the mood for Monday Night Football. Josh has reviewed George Clooney's 'Leatherheads.' He says it an enjoyable sports comedy that falters a bit in the second half. This Blu-ray has excellent picture and sound. Recommended.

Great movie, took me by surprise really. Wasn't expecting much out of it.

I took a chance on it since I work for my local theater and thus get in free, but if I had paid to see the movie, I would have been satisfied. It's not the kind of movie you'll watch over and over, but would best serve as a nice distraction now and then.

Plus I got to kick a kid out who snuck into the movie, which I rarely get to do.

Agreed. Rented this on Blu and watched it last night. Glad it was a rental. Some parts of the movie were funny and other parts felt very out of place. Zelwegger felt out of place to me throughout the whole movie and the story really seemed to drag on. They probably could have cut 20-30 minutes off this movie and it would have improved.

I would highly recommend renting this one before buying it. It wasn't a bad movie but it just was not very good.
