RUSH to release Snakes & Arrows Live on Blu-Ray!
Here is the official announcement from Rush.com:
http://www.rush.com/news/news4.html
November 25th! It looks like this one will be loaded. The entire show from the first leg plus extras from the second leg and even one song from the R-30 tour that was left off of that DVD. This is a must have for RUSH fans! -

I'm disappointed that there won't be a complete performance of 2112 on this release - it's their best track.
Still a definite buy for me, though.

Best news all year.
I was hoping they'd at least do R30 on blu-ray because it is, technically, a phenomenal video.
I was dissapointed in the audio from the Rush in Rio dvd, so I was hoping that it wouldn't be the first blu-ray they made..
Hell, they just got around to releasing a few others that were only available on VHS not to long ago, so to have one coming out on blu ray already is great.
If it's not Rush...Whats the point. -

Recently got into the band, I'll definitely be grabbing this.
Man it's nice to see a lot of high profile concert releases. I was afraid a lot of concerts would be padded out over the next couple years, like how some studios are handling catalog titles.Blu-ray's: 234

Truly awesome news (enough to get me to finally register here - been lurking for months).
I've got everything they've ever released (minus studio compilations), and I've been crossing my fingers that this tour would see a Blu-ray 'post-card' to the fans. These guys truly respect their fans!!!
Curious where the BD Audio specs were listed - the release on the website only spoke of the DVD audio specs. Either way - relieved to know there will be lossless audio - got to put that AVR-1909 to work. -

I just saw this show last night, let me tell you, it's the best concert on film from RUSH, better than Rio and R30, by far!!
I have a new favorite!!

Just got my copy home and am running through it at this moment.
Awesome show.
Curiously, it's 1080i.
Scared me a little because it starts with the video that opens the concert and that looks like crap, visually.
Once the concert kicks in, though, it's pretty sweet.
Still looks a little 'video-ish', compared to the feeling of 'being there' (like the Alice Cooper: Montreaux blu-ray), but the quality's still there, nonetheless.
"Would of"? "Could of"?? "Should of"??? I long for the day people realize that "of" is not a verb and that it'll never be possible to "of" something... -

Picked mine up tonight, but am reserving Turkey day for the play through....I get in weird Rush moods where I'll play them non-stop - and Thursday will be one of those days.
Tw great things about this video:
1) It was the last one available...Day of release, and I got the very last one..For a Rush fan like me, thats awesome to hear.
2) $19.99? Seriously? I went in to BestBuy expecting to lay down $39.99 or so - it rang up for little over $20.00...I double checked the price online when I got home and sure enough, list price is $19.99...Holy hell, that is the deal of the century.
