Default 'Risky Business' - High-Def Digest Review

Peter's review of 'Risky Business' has been posted. He says this is a great teen film and a perfect look at 80's greed and consumerism. This Blu-ray is a bit of a disappointment, with merely average video and audio, but some good supplements. Worth a look.

Hm...

Love this movie, think I'll skip on the Blu Ray though.

Didn't read the review and bought the blu-ray. Very glad I did. Picture quality = Excellent, Audio qauality = Very very good.

No complaints here whatsoever.

I now never read reviews for films I already like and want ... I stopped doing that when I read several reviews here that were changed from "recommended" or "highly recommended" to a much less "for fans only" or something similar (examples are Patton and The Longest Day).

Now my opinion is what counts (for me) so I buy what I know I like.

That being said I do wish the critics here could or would do a honest review on the picture/audio quality of every given title. But then again, critiques are just opinions and what one person may hate, another may like.

I agree completely with the review.

PQ is only average and leaves alot of room for improvement. Expect another version of this movie to be released.

I've never seen this flick before. Is it worth a blind buy? Be honest.

The Screencap looked terrible
But the only thing I remember about this flick was the sliding around the house in boxers and a T...nothing more.

Unless Warner shipped different digital copies of the same movie, and I find that highly unlikely, I want to point out that I was able to download the digital copy to my Mac and load it onto my iPod touch.

Why is this movie in True HD but Speed Racer is not?

What some disenfranchised people read into every thing. I suspect the film does have an appeal for closet cases that like teenage boys dancing in their underwear and feel the need to hide that truth by blaming the Reagan Era.

And you should leave your right wing political leanings out of your avatar.

Pot meet kettle.
