Default Journey to the Center of the Earth Oct. 28

I like what Warner is doing here, first is Polar Ex. now is Center of Earth in 3D.

Now all we need is Beowulf: Directors Cut 3D from Paramount, then I'll really be set.

Am not seeing any TrueHD logo on the ad..

It's Oct. 28, not Sep.23, your looking at the wrong date

I wonder how well the 3D glasses will work?

Too bad this was such a mediocre movie. Couldn't they afford more characters?

It's a good 3-D flick, but it would be horrible in 2-D.

On the DVDactive website they posted backcovers for both versions of the movie and yes once again Warner uses Dolby Digital 5.1 instead of Dolby True-HD.
What is it with them , that they use standard Dolby for dialog heavy movies I can understand to a surtain point but action movies without lossless audio I don't understand.

God I hate Warner for making these kinds of blu-ray's......

Hmmm, I do wonder if the Hannah Montana 3D glasses will work with this movie if I just rent it from netflix....
Also, there should be no reason not to have TrueHD on this transfer. While it wasn't a blockbuster by any stretch, it did do decent box office returns. I really don't think I can buy this with standard audio. But I would rent it if I know the 3D glasses that I have will work.
Anyone care to guess?

Updated OP title for you, and I can't wait to see this. I'll rent it and watch in 2D first, if I like will buy. Nevermind, will just buy it since the 3D is a limited edition offer.

you know the "limited" thing has me wondering if they are just blowing smoke up the ole assola.
I mean nobody knows how limited "limited" really is.
I really think all these 3-D versions of these bds will be around for a long time.
Considering how few people overall will really want this crapola should we really be concerned?

Maybe the limited thing is referring to the cardboard 3D glasses themselves

I wouldn't mind renting this if only to witness the 3D effect, I missed out on Beowulf

"Beowulf" is a no-brainer for a 3-D version, and I can't wait.
I missed that in the theater also, and really wanted to check it out.
This film I simply avoided because it's too damn expensive to waste money on these 3-D movies in the theater if they are not first rate.
but on bd, that's a different story.
at the bottom of the ad it says 3D limited to initial shipments.
hmmmmm............that seems a little ominous actually.
wonder how many of the actual 3D versions they make?

Commercial announcer: ...but order now. Supply is limited.
Homer: [gasps] "LIMITED"?!? [frantically dials the phone] Do you have any of those microphones left?!
Warehouse clerk: [standing in a warehouse filled to the roof with boxes of microphones] Yeah, a couple...

So you'll buy any BD that's in 3D huh? What about 'Spy Kids'?
