'From Hell' will be among five new Fox titles to debut on Blu-ray on December 5.

After the problem with Speed, it wouldn't surprise me if they're doing some extra QC checks on the release. That said, the news of this bump came down last week from DVD Empire to those who had ordered from them.

I love this movie. I own the Limited Edition on DVD and i am very happy to see i can now get it on Blu-ray. It probably wont have the extras that my DVD has but i have watched those enough.

I have to say I think it is due to the abysmal sales of both HD formats and they are holding off on some of these releases until there are more players in people's homes.

I just got an email from Amazon that says this title will be available on 26 March.

Yep, it looks like it's released March 26, at least according to Amazon:

Not here in Europe Movies are usually released on Mondays here.

Could be because it has been postponed several times but maybe they do not release it on Monday. In less than a week we will know.

Agreed. My sd dvd version looks great upconverted. I would hope Fox gives From Hell the same treatment.

Has anybody heard anything regarding a possible delay on this title? It is supposed to street in 6 days, yet it is still unavailable for pre-order from Amazon and on www.dvdpricesearch.com they only have 2 available retailers for it, when they usually will list at least 7 or 8. It seems like it's a virtual lock that Fox is delaying it.
