Default 'Eraser' - High-Def Digest Review

Peter's return to the mid-90s continues with 'Eraser.' He says it's pretty standard late career Schwarzenegger. Fairly unmemorable .This Blu-ray has decent audio and video and not one extra. A rental or a bargain bin purchase.

I got this today, only watched one scene real quick to see what it was like. That scene where arnie gets to the girl in here apartement. I though it sounded really good. Unless the rest of the movie sounded average in comparison, 3 stars for Audio is too low...

This 080p/VC-1 encode (2.40:1) is spread across a BD-25 single-layer disc, and does not offer any sort of radical remaster but only a decent bump-up over the previous standard-def DVD.
Is that something new?

I thought the film was rather enjoyable. It was at least somewhat different than your Commando/Rambo type movie.

It was ok for an Arnie movie .Certainly not as bad as the ridiculous 'Collateral Damage'.

I only saw this like once or twice back in the day. The only thing I can remember about it is that it was forgettable... if that makes any sense.

Nope, sorry, doesn't make any sense. It makes as much sense as a football bat.

Eraser is pulling a 33% on Rotten Tomatoes so the review is on the generous side.

Yeah, I can understand that. I thought the movie was great, and one of the main reasons for that is I was obsessed with anything Schwarzenegger at that point. Some movies stay great when you loved them as a kid.
